Charity Fundraiser
Our first charity fundraiser was held on Saturday, September 19 and helped raise $1,455 for one of our Youth Flag families! There were basket raffles, 50/50, pie the coaches, and a 40-yard dash. The Ravens won the U-10 championship over the Dolphins and the Eagles won the U-16 championship over the Cowboys. The Diamond City Flag Football League also held an exhibition game so the youth can see the talent of the adults. Thank-you to all the parents, coaches, and supporters of this great first season of Youth Flag action -- see you in the Spring of 2021!

2022 Registration is now open!
Registration for the 2022 season of Diamond City Youth Flag Football (ages 5 to 18, age as of 3/31/22) is now available for players, coaches, and on-field officials. Prices will remain the same as last year ($30 with standard fundraising, $50 with reduced fundraising, and $70 for no fundraising). There is no fee for coaches and on-field officials. NEW: Diamond City Sports Student/Athlete Award
We at Diamond City Sports are committed to our community. This is evidenced in the tens of thousands of dollars we have donated to the Greater Wilkes-Barre community as well as the recent development of more youth programming.
Our latest outreach is to provide two graduating Wilkes-Barre Area School District seniors with a $1,000 Student/Athlete Award. This isn't necessarily a scholarship -- the winners can choose to use it for college, trade school, tools for a new career, or for whatever needs they may have as they move into the world of adulthood.

Deadline for applications is April 30, 2022. We will choose a female and male recipient from eligible applicants and their award will be presented at class day at the end of the 2022 school year.
