Diamond City Girls Flag Football
Registration Now Available!
We are excited to announce our newest league, coming August 30 -- girls flag football! We are proud to say we have welcomed girls to our spring league since its inception in 2020, but we also recognize the value in having a girls-only league for them to shine! PIAA has sanctioned girls flag football beginning with the 2025-2026 school year and we want to give the girls of Northeastern Pennsylvania the chance to get even more of a head-start on the competition.
For our first season, we will only be offering the sport to girls ages 12-17, with age groups of U-15 and U-18. Games will be played on Saturdays at Miner Park in Wilkes-Barre beginning August 30. There is a strict limit of 40 players per age group, so register early! We certainly hope to expand this age group in future years, but want to give our full attention to the high school age groups and then expand for next season. Cost is $40 and includes a Diamond City Sports t-shirt for game action. NO FUNDRAISING IS REQUIRED.
